Walking Protest has always been more than a fashion brand, our mission is rooted in creating garments and operating business in a way which works alongside nature and promotes lessened impact, so we can gather internal knowledge with real, practical experience - sharing it far and wide with both consumers & brands. A new branch in the WP canopy is growing, Sustainability Services for fashion & textile brands - roots cementing deeper and branches spreading farther in our walk towards a better tomorrow.

Offering:
Hi, my name is Madeline - I am the founder of WP & I work with fashion & textile brands on reducing environmental impacts through supply chains, textiles, circular design principles and legislation readiness. Translating compliancies into clear, actionable strategies and implementing reduced impact with a focus on cross department unity. With an initial offering in DPP & EPR readiness, supply chain mapping, impact reporting, strategy, circular design consultation & supply chain transparency, my approach is to also connect and work with various specialists in further topics to develop strategies inline with impact goals holistically.

How I Help You
Digital Product Passport Readiness (DPP)

Following new legislations requiring transparent and published supply chain information for brands in and selling to the EU - I work with you to obtain information over your supply chain alongside end of life strategies to not only achieve compliance but lessen impacts & identify data gaps for a cleaner supply chain and more sustainable design aligning with ESPR requirements as they unfold. Resulting in finished DPP’s for your collections and strategies to uphold and improve transparency.
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

EPR is a policy approach that holds brands accountable for the entire lifecycle of their products, especially waste management and recycling. I work with you to identify potential EPR penalties, reduce waste, implement end of life strategies and lessen impacts through your supply chain, design and beyond.
Circular Design Consultation

With a focus on designing for durability, repairability, recyclability, and regeneration - closing the loop and reducing environmental impact throughout your design stages.
Coming Soon: Impact Reporting & Strategy to GRI Standards

Coming Soon: Measuring your brand’s environmental and social performance, providing clear insights into how your products and operations affect people and the planet. Setting meaningful goals, improving sustainability, and communicating progress transparently.
“My goal in this space is to translate confusing data and take away the overwhelm, helping fashion and textile brands achieve not only compliance & understanding of this landscape, but genuinely lessen their environmental and social impacts, achieving value aligned business goals and actionable progress towards a more sustainable future. Taking everything I have learned through doing it myself and working with fashion brands across all departments, allowing me to relate to the challenges a founder incurs and hold their hand through upcoming industry requirements & meaningful work.”
